Cultivating Healing, Restoring Lives

Founded in 2020, our horticulture-based initiative began with a simple yet powerful belief: that nature holds the key to healing.

Since then, we’ve collaborated with a number of rehabilitation centers, leading workshops that blend nature, care, and compassion to foster growth and recovery.

Our Mission is to provide a nature-based therapeutic approach that fosters healing, personal growth, and social reintegration in an evidence-based healing environment where individuals can cultivate resilience, self-sufficiency, and a renewed sense of purpose.

At Your Healing Garden, our main focus is on the Arab world. We believe healing should reflect the cultural, social, and environmental context of the communities we serve. That’s why our horticultural therapy activities are tailored to the region’s climate, traditions, and values.

We select plants that thrive locally and adapt our spaces to suit cultural preferences, gender-appropriate settings, and environmental needs, ensuring comfort, privacy, and accessibility. Our programs are conducted in Arabic and designed with local customs, social dynamics, and sensitivities in mind, making each session relevant and inclusive for all participants.

The activities applied in our programs, involve cultivating aromatic plants, learning propagation techniques, preparing the site, vegetable gardening, creating leaf prints, arranging flowers, and practicing hydroponics and others.

What is Horticulture Therapy?

Horticultural therapy uses a person-centered, holistic approach within therapeutic, vocational, and wellness models to serve people who are ill, injured, disadvantaged, or socially excluded, such as people with substance use disorder, autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, visual impairment, and mobility limitations.

Horticultural therapy provides diverse therapeutic benefits, supporting mental, physical, and social well-being:

  • Physically, it boosts coordination and strength.
  • Emotionally, it reduces stress and builds confidence.
  • Cognitively, it stimulates focus and memory.
  • Socially, it strengthens bonds and communication.
